Without our supporters we would not be able to provide vital financial support to Dorset cancer patients, leaving those who are not only battling cancer but simultaneously battling financial pressures alone. With our supporters help we can continue to aid our local community.

Why choose us?
We are small: The DCCF is a small charity with minimal expenses. The Charity Fundraising Manager wages are covered by a donation and the Trustees take no expenses. All donations and sponsorship do not get lost within a large charity, with us we can locate exactly where your money is going and how it is helping.
We are localised: We specialise in helping Dorset residents only, making sure that our local community gets the support it needs. The money that is donated to us is put back into the local community and thus the local economy, supporting Dorset businesses.
We are fast: Our application process is fast and simple so that support can be given to those who need it in a timely manner. We can issue awards within two weeks of submission compared to larger organisation that can take months.

Sponsorship
Join our Sponsorship Community! We offer different levels of sponsorship which can be tailored to suit you. Every year we host a variety of different events and activities that require sponsorship, getting involved in this way not only provides valuable financial support to The DCCF but also raises the awareness of your brand.

Gifts in kind
We are always in need of prizes for raffles and charity auctions. Some organisations choose to donate their goods or services to us as a result.
For instance, Chez Fred have donated over 80 fish and chips for fundraising events, Purbeck Ice Cream provided over 100 tubs of ice cream for our volunteer Appreciation Evening and Franses Jewellers donates a beautiful item of jewellery to auction each year at our legendary Black-Tie Dinner.
Match Funding
Matched giving increases employee engagement by matching the funds that they raise for charity. Most organisations offer £1 for every £1 raised by their employees allowing for an instant boost to their fundraising. So, if you’re thinking about doing some fundraising why not check to see if this is something that your organisation offers.
